Driving Licence - for cyclist

I don't know about you, but I really have a concern with cyclist cycling on the roads. Some don't give a damn about their own safety let alone, other road users. Yes, it's more environment friendly than driving a car, it's a more economical way of getting around and a good form of exercise too but I don't think many realised that they are actually road hazards when they are cycling on the roads without respecting the traffic rules. Some cut across the roads (from left lane to the right lane) as and when they need to, cross the road together at the pedestrian crossing at traffic lights when they need to, ride like the invisible man at night (wear dark colour clothings plus no reflectors and head lamps)... Maybe, they should get proper licence in order to travel on the roads. Maybe should suggest to garmen to get cyclist pay road tax like the others, pay ERP, ensure they have proper head lamps and signal lights, force them to wear proper protective gear (helmets) if they wanna cycle on the roads. Must be fair mah... ha!

I is sibeh agree with your comments. Another *&#% kind of cyclists are those that like to cycle across pedestrian crossings... Sometimes when doing a right turn at junctions, after checking for coming traffic and pedestrain crossing, your brain tells you that you have time to do a turn ...then out of no where, some joker on bicycle zoom pass the pedestrian crossing... knn
